The house was built in 1923 with the true Skagen idyll, and gently renovated in 1998. The enclosed garden has sun all day, and it is not difficult to find a good spot with shelter. In the garden you will find an annex which is the landlord’s private annex. You have the enclosed garden to yourself during the rental period, and do not have to share the garden, as there are no other tenants on the plot during the period when you rent the house.

The fine kitchen is in open connection with the dining area and the living room, where there are two sleeping places. On the ground floor you will also find the house’s toilet and bathroom as well as a large, nice utility room with washing machine and freezer.


On the 1st floor are two rooms, with respectively a large double bed in one room and two single beds in the other room. In the house you will also find a weekend bed with a mattress for smaller children. In total, the house is 129 m2.

The location is perfect, right by the city center and only a few minutes’ walk from Ancher’s house, Brøndums Hotel and Skagen Museum – and close to the town’s pleasant pedestrian street and the red fish warehouses on the harbour. At the same time, the white sandy beach (Sønderstrand) is only 1km from the house. The beach is extremely child-friendly, and during the season lifeguards supervise the beach.

The lease of the house at Markvej 35 in Skagen is from 15.00 on the day of arrival until 11.00 on the day of departure.

Deposit: If the booking is canceled no later than 2 months before arrival, the deposit will be refunded. After this, the deposit is not refunded. The remaining rent is paid no later than 1 week before arrival.
